The Brotherhood
Built by brothers, for brothers — grounded in our Code of Honor. Need a quick refresher? We can walk you through the features.
Every goal in Team GRIT follows the CPR framework:
C — Context: Who you are BEING. Start with "I am a man who..." This is the identity you choose to operate from.
P — Purpose: Your deeper WHY. The emotional reason this goal matters to you personally.
R — Result: A SMART outcome — Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound. Include a number and a date.
Example: "I am a man who honors his health (C) to be fully present for my family (P) by running 3x/week and completing a 5K by June 30 (R)."
Your home screen shows every brother's active goals. The colored dots indicate weekly check-in status:
🟢 Green = On Track 🟠 Yellow = Behind 🔴 Red = Off Track ⚫ Gray = No check-in yet
Tap any card to view that brother's full goals. The Team Accountability score shows what percentage of active goals have been checked in this week.
Each week, check in on your goals by tapping the status buttons: On Track, Behind, or Off Track. Check-ins reset every Monday.
The history dots on each goal card show your check-in streak over recent weeks. Consistent check-ins build accountability.
"I See You" — Tap this on a brother's goal to show you're watching and supporting. It's a quiet act of encouragement.
Nudge — If a brother hasn't checked in this week, you can send a nudge from the dashboard. It's a gentle reminder that says "we notice, and we care." Nudges can only be sent once per brother per week.
When you mark a goal as "Completed," it moves to the Victory Wall — a shared celebration space for the team. Brothers can react with emojis to celebrate achievements together.
Use the meeting timer during your weekly check-in calls. Set the time per man, hit Start, and the timer rotates through each brother automatically. Keeps meetings focused and fair.
Can others edit my goals? No. Only you can create, edit, and check in on your own goals. Brothers can only nudge you and "I See You" your goals.
What happens if I miss a week? Nothing breaks! Just check in when you can. The history dots will show a gap, but that's normal. What matters is getting back on track.
How do I change my profile photo? Tap your avatar on the individual view page, or update it in Settings.
Can I have multiple goals? Yes! Tap "Add Goal" to create additional CPR goals. Most brothers track 1-3 goals at a time.
How do I complete a goal? When your goal is done, edit it and mark it as "Completed." It will move to the Victory Wall for the team to celebrate.
What if I need to change a goal? Tap your goal card, then use the edit button. You can update any field including the target date.
Page looks wrong or outdated? Clear your browser cache (Ctrl+Shift+Delete on desktop, or Settings → Clear Browsing Data on mobile). The app auto-clears on updates, but a manual clear can help.
Push notifications not working? Make sure you clicked "Enable Push Notifications" in Settings. Check that your browser allows notifications for this site (browser Settings → Notifications). Push is not supported in Safari on iOS.
Can't log in? Double-check your email and password. Use "Forgot Password?" to reset. If you haven't verified your email yet, check your inbox (and spam folder) for the verification link.
Check-in buttons not responding? Make sure you're viewing your own goals (not another brother's). You can only check in on your own goals.
Photo upload failing? Keep images under 5 MB. JPG and PNG work best. If it still fails, try a different browser or check your internet connection.
App is slow or freezing? Try refreshing the page. If using an older phone, close other browser tabs. The app works best in Chrome or Edge.
Email notifications not arriving? Check your spam/junk folder. Make sure email notifications are enabled in Settings. Allow emails from noreply@teamgrit.app.
Still stuck? Use the Feedback & Support button in Settings to report the issue. Include what happened and what you expected.
